No, having a royal family with not give me a national pride as it feels like I will be worshipping that person for the rest of my life and the only person I would be willing to worship would be God and his mother.

I feel as though having a royal family gives your country something as a tradition. These generations of families have been ruling a country for centuries. They have been there for the good and the bad. Lifting up the country from the ruins and bringing it towards glory.
No. It would raise my animosity towards the state because it institutionalizes supremacy.

The disappointing legacy of the British Royal Family have turned Americans off of the idea of having a royal family. Whether it be King George's refusal to surrender the 13 colonies or King Henry VIII's murderous tendencies, Americans see the royal family as an interesting part of British history. As Americans, we are among the most patriotic nations in the world because none of us are royalty and any of us could one day help to run our nation.

maybe becasue the family would be more respected than the country.

I would be ashamed to live in a nation that believes that certain people are given the right to rule over others.
